Our projects focus on applying serious gaming in leadership development and personal development in corporate and higher education contexts. We integrate, adept or customize (board)games into newly developed experienced based learning activities, aimed at facilitating reflection on what we do and why in cooperation with others.
The Pengaruh suite and The Battle of the Dutch Masters is a series of (board)game based learning experiences for students, young leaders and as well as aspiring leaders and professionals. There are several versions of the game that address at least two of the following competencies: collaboration, leadership, communication, critical thinking/problem solving and social & cultural awareness. Our most elaborate version, the Pengaruh management game, focuses on leadership, trust and engagement. The objective here is to acquire insight into influence on other group members and impact as a group leader. See also a paper we wrote together with Sheffield Hallam University about this game.
